Tommy Allsup was Buddy Holly's guitarist. He lost the coin toss with Richie Valens that bumped him from the fatal plane crash that took the lives of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper. Tommy produced Bob Wills' last album, Asleep at the Wheel's first 5 albums, has won a Grammy and is a member of The Texas Playboys. Additionally, he has played on thousands of recording sessions. He played bass on one track and guitar on another at Andres Sound & Production. Sitting next to Tommy Allsup is Danny Andres, studio owner / engineer / producer.
